Benromach Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky was matured for the first nine years in 4/5 bourbon and 1/5 sherry casks before a year in sherry casks. A great whiskey, its maturity belies its 10 years of age and the sherry finish has done wonders.
Benromach has succeeded in its aim of going back to the classic Speyside style of the 1960s, and the whiskey has a very traditional touch.
