New England Barrel Company Stouted Straight Bourbon is a straight bourbon whiskey aged for 3 Years, 11 Months, and 14 Days before being finished in stout barrels for 3.5 Months. Bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered
Barrel 17-44, (limited to 188 bottles) is the final Stouted Bourbon Barrel to be released and is a sister barrel to the DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL winning barrel (17-45) which was awarded during the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
While this barrel, like all single barrels, is unique and unto its own, it does share many similar characteristics with 17-45 – coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate – with a bit more bite.
