An intricate blend is winemaking art, like a tapestry woven together of many threads. A blend of the classics—52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petite Verdot, and 8% Malbec— punctuated by 20% Zinfandel, a notorious renegade from the appellation. Aged in French oak with medium toast for nine months to smooth off the rough edges.
TASTING NOTES: With aromas of cocoa, cranberry, and black currant as well as rich maple, dark red fruit, and toffee, this wine coats the palate with its creamy caramel. It finishes with layers of dark berries and coffee.
